Newbie question on the How come basis
How come my sword says 3-6 damage but regularly does 14? How come my bow says 11-17 but routinely does 30+?
Does the amount of skill points allotted to say swordmanship or marksmanship increase the level of damage for the weapon? If so how much? Thanks Kezz |

Also, if you have met the requirement for the weapon (say 3 marksmanship), that will ensure that you are able to potentially get the maximum damage out of your weapon. Also (if it was not mention yet), the armor level of the mob your attacking modifies the damage you deal. So your weapon's base damage, your attribute level, skills used, equipment attributes, and your foe's armor level all comes together to calculate how much damage you finally slap them with. (hmmm ... for some reason I feel like I'm forgetting something ... )

Basically if a mob your fighting has less than 60 Armor... it means the damage you do to it will actually be increased(excluding any other mods like attributes, skills etc).
At 60 armor the damage is pretty much not modified at all. Over 60 armor and your damage starts being reduced. |
